Alessa can seem rather stuck up when you first meet her as she was part of a school that taught very proper manners. However as you get to know her you can tell the female is rather shy and lonely. Being a Muggleborn student at one time she is still taken by surprise by things in the magical world. Hogwarts scared her when she first arrived 4 years ago.

That first year she was constantly biting her nails and wringing her hands. However the wringing of her hands stopped after a few weeks as she became more comfortable with the castle. Being blamed for the death of her parents even through she wasn't there has made her trust harder to gain but also longing to find someone to stay by her side.

So that is Alessa.

detailed history

Liana Giovanni and Albano D'Amore meet for the first time shortly after graduating from college. They go on their first date two weeks later and hit it off quickly. Two years later they are married. A year after marriage it is discovered that Liana is pregnant with a child. Over joyed the two prepare for the addition to their family. On December 22 36 years ago Bernado Celio D'Amore was born.

The three were very happy together when it was once again discovered that Liana was carrying a child. So 33 years ago on September 25 Liana Marie D'Amore was born. The family was quite sure that they needed no more children after all they had a darling son and adorable daughter. However Liana found out she was carrying a third child. On February 10th 30 years ago the final D'Amore child was born.

Upon holding the tiny infant in their arms Albano and Liana knew she was different then her siblings. They named the tiny female Alessa after the nurse that had taken care of Liana during her pregnancy. Bernardo and Liana Marie were not sure what to think of this new child.

At the age of 3 Alessa began displaying signs of magic as she made her toys float in the air to entertain her as her siblings were busy. Bernardo being 9 years old had no time to play with his baby sister. Liana Marie was jealous of the younger girl as she seemed to hold their parents attention. When Liana and Albano saw what their daughter had done they were speechless unsure of what exactly was happening with their preschool age daughter.

At the age of 10 she learned that she was a witch and attended Dalition Academy of Witchcraft in Rome. Her years there taught her quite a bit and she loved her 10 3/4 inch reed wand with elf hair core. Upon graduating from Dalition Academy of Witchcraft with top scores the female she had done as a child.

After traveling she came home to hoping to settle back in but her parents had passed while she was traveling the world. Her siblings blamed the 26 year old female and gave her the inheritance left to her and told her to leave and never contact them again. The distraught female took her new life savings and left Italy traveling to Great Britain.

She has had plenty of experience looking at the night stars and even apprenticed to an astronomer while on her travels. After arriving in Britain she applied at Hogwarts for the position as the Astronomy professor and was given the position. So she has been teaching for the last 4 years.

A wandless wingardium Leviosa had her butterbeer floating in the air next to her so she could hold out her hand to the other female. "Pleased to meet you Emily. I'm Alessa D'Amore." she said before grabbing the other females hand and shaking it and releasing it. She then grabbed the glass and sat in the other seat.

She smiled brightly at the younger female after all she couldn't have been out of school for that long. "You looked a little preoccupied is there anything I can help you with?" Alessa asked before taking a small sip of her butterbeer. She could of got something alcoholic but she had decided against it as she did not want to mess with her ability. The 30 year old female sighed smoothing the skirt of her dress and taking her sunglasses from in front of her eyes and using them as a headband for her long black hair.

'This female seems rather lost I hope I can help her.' She thought her eyes focused on Emily. She took another sip of her butterbeer as she waited for a response.
