Amy is a sweet girl, a little immature and very insecure about being alone, but still sweet. Her friendly uplifting personality stays constant like a sun all day long, which can annoy people a little bit. However she does have a dark side, that is her sadness for muggle-borns and how they are discriminated against. She was raised in the belief that she was special and being told that she is worse than dirt is a real let down for her.

She is afraid of the dark and afraid of being alone, generally she can become paralyzed when faced with darkness (she loves lumos).

She loves singing and generally hums a tune when ever it is silent or when she is by herself. While she aspires to become an aurour, she is told constantly that she would be better suited as a healer. This does frustrate her a little however as she is a free spirited and highly opinionated girl. She tends to judge first and get to know later.

detailed history

When she was born it was of course assumed that she would be totally normal. Naturally she was up until a certain point. Her parents were both muggles as as magically oblivious as most of the population. Her mother was a politician representing womens rights and education, this is perhaps why Amy inherited such a passion for the topic. Her father was a farmer living off the land and selling his produce to big brand super markets.

They lived on a big forty acre property almost entirely covered in crop fields save for a few paddocks reserved for Amy's ponies and later horses. When she was born she was precious, the apple of her parents eyes. Her father woke up early every morning to pick the best fruit or vegetable from a ripe crop and crushed it down for her to eat. She had the healthiest freshest upbringing giving her a healthy glow and a energetic attitude by her toddler years.

When school came her parents enrolled her in the best muggle school around, there was just one problem however. She was terrified of being away from her parents. Every moment of her infant hood and childhood she was with them so when she left to go to school she became shy, awkward and terrified. The school had her put into counselling and with help from her parents she gradually eased into a state where she could be without them however she would miss them terribly when they were apart.
This started a long list of fears and phobias that had developed unconsciously including her almost crippling fear of the dark.

It was also around this time, her ninth birthday, that she started displaying signs of magic. When she as frightened things would tremble, when she was happy little sparks would appear around her and as she grew older these slips of magic grew larger and larger.

The millers were frightened, their daughter was changing in an unfamiliar way and though they loved her, they were growing afraid of her. This was when they met Dumbledore for the first time.

He was a kind man and showed the confused Amy what these occurrences were and assured her that she was not the only one. Her parents though spooked at first grew accustomed to the idea of a magical child and accepted it as an extra special bonus to an extra special child.

When she finally arrived at Hogwarts, naturally sh was afraid, however she found herself quickly distracted from the matter by a larger one. The pure-blood supremacy. She was outraged by the idea of pure blood being superior to all else and with that an idea and a passion blazed within her fueled by her mothers Irish politician blood.

Since then she has been the leader of many muggle born and half blood support groups and rallys. Her passion for singing led her to the choir and since then she has aspired to become the greatest and most inspiring witch that ever lived.
