Alexis can be quite a harsh girl and along with her group ten to gossip a lot. She’s quite blunt with people and will get straight to the point, she hates beating around the bush and doesn’t see the point. If she’s in a bad mood then she’ll be quite sarcastic with you and gets even more annoyed when people don’t latch on to her tone of voice. She’s really not afraid to tell people what she thinks of them and thinks that she is doing them a favour by telling them what she really thinks.
Lexi can sometimes be quite self-centred and is extremely spoilt. She cares what high ranking families think of her but otherwise she doesn’t really care. Lex always tries to keep her ice cold heart image up because it’s what her father taught her to do. Though she may not seem it, Alexis is very much a family person and will listen to her parents because she believes that they know best.

detailed history

Alexis has had a pretty easy life. She’s the only daughter of Theresa and Jereko Thrif and they very much treat her like it. Ever since she was born, she has been the apple of her father’s eye and he’s spoilt her rotten. Her mother’s been exactly the same and was extremely happy when she found out that she was having a girl because it meant that they would be able to go and do mother-daughter things together whilst Jereko was away.
A lot of the time when Alexis was growing up her father wasn’t around because of the Ministry work that he had to do. There would often be months where she wouldn’t see him and sometimes wouldn’t even speak to him. Whenever Jereko finally saw his little girl, he would try and make it up to her by buying her things. Though Alexis liked the presents that she got, all she really wanted was for her father to be around for her to watch her growing up.
Alexis then started Hogwarts and saw even less of her father, even when she came back in the holidays. Her mother never seemed to mind that Jereko was always at work and always thought that it was the right thing for him to do since he was working for the Ministry. Alexis would often put her annoyance from this into retail therapy. Her father never did mind this and let her carry on since they had more than enough money to spare.
A lot of Lexi’s friends thinks that she wants to be like them in terms of getting married and then just living off their husband. But Alexis wants to go out and work and be a journalist in the Wizarding world. She doesn’t want to have to live off someone when she’s finally old enough to make her own money. She also would find it hard to rely on her husband because of her experience with her own father.

Alexis flew into her dorm room in her pink vest and pyjama shorts before laying on her bed on her stomach and waiting for the other girls to arrive. There were six of them in total that should have been there but at the moment there were only three, they were waiting on the arrival of the other three and Alexis had no clue where they would be.

This was a weekly thing for Lexi’s group of friends, every Friday evening after classes the six of them would meet up in Lexi’s dorm room and then gossip about the events of the week that had just passed. It was a good way for them all to unwind and just relax for a little before having to get homework done and over with. Friday evenings were what some of them lived for, just to get everything off their chest that they didn’t have the chance to talk about in the week. A lot of them time the rest of the girls would talk about news boys that they had started to like and Lexi would sit and listen to them and give them advice. There was no one in the school that really caught her eye. She had guy friends but no one that she wanted to go out with. Her father would have something to say about anyone that she dated anyway so she didn’t really see the point.

At last the three girls had entered, giving their apologies and laying on the beds. Their weekend had just started. A grin was on Lexi’s face. One week down and closer to Christmas.
