Welcome Guests and Members to: Of Pandemonium & Dreamscapes.
The wizarding year is 2050. It has been fifty-two years since the wizarding world won its freedom from the terror that was Lord Voldemort and his loyal followers; the Death Eaters. The wizarding world itself has finally seen prosperity reach its peak as new wizarding generations bring forth new ideas to the elements of magic. New laws protecting and giving fair treatment to those of creature heritages'. New wizarding stores popping up within new magical alleys. Influences from daily muggle life filing the racks of clothing boutiques, prank shops, and wizarding cafes. Yes, a glorious time indeed within the flourishing wizarding world.
However the same can't not be said for the magical school of Hogwarts. A rift between the Gryffindors and the Slytherins has come to a boiling point. A rift that has even the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs joining in on the action along side the Gryffindors against the Slytherins. But even with this alliance, the amity between the Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, and Hufflepuffs is starting to deteriorate.
The Founders' Challenge is what the Hogwarts Staff has considered to be the best solution for the immature rifts between the four houses. Seen as a befitting way to help repair an extensive amount of damage that has accumulated over the ages in a time that was on the verge of a dark and deadly magical war. However, the current students are not too keen on making nice and strengthening the extremely weaken bonds that were once unbreakable. Oh no, the students want absolutely nothing to do with one another on a larger scale; especially the elite Slytherin students. But all will soon enough learn that the Hogwarts Staff is not taking 'No' for an answer.
Two champions from each of the four houses; one boy and one girl; will be chosen at random to be resorted by the Sorting Hat and placed into their second choice house, but not base on family status; blood status; and personality alone. All are expected to follow and live up to the regulations and expectations imposed upon them by their new house head and housemates for three months. All of this while earning points for their own original house.
Who will survive the two month trials and give their house the advantage of winning the House Cup for the year? Which students will crack under pressure and come out with a new sense of self; whether it be for the best or for the worst? Do you dare to take it upon yourself to take on the challenge?
