strengths

her wit and sarcasm.
her loyalty to her friends could be considered a strength, she would die for them if need be.
she is open minded, allowing her to weigh both sides of a story before judging.
beth has a great sense of humour, allowing her to jump in and save awkward situations.
she is also a fairly good critical thinker (problem solving, especially when it comes to what outfit to wear, is her specialty!).

weaknesses

procrastinating, it means she sucks at getting things done on time, and that is one weakness.
she has an addictive personality, which can definately be a bad thing.
beth isn't very good with dissapointment and can be very emotional, and then can't think rationally at that time.
her closeness to her friends and family can also be a weakness as if they get into trouble she is usally right there with them.

quirks

she has trouble figuring out when is a good time to stop talking and can ramble on for quite some time when necessary. she also does this funny thing where she wrinkles her nose when she goes to sneeze.

personality

beth likes being around people. she is very friendly and active within hogwarts, trying to make everyone she meets happy. she is a very bubbly person and can be a people pleaser at times. she's got a habit of running herself into the ground to make others happy, and this includes men. she has in the past, been walked over by a few guys who sense that she is willing to do almost anything for the people that she cares about, and they've used this to get what they want out of her before sodding off and leaving her to pick up the pieces. she's never had much luck with chosing the right guy and she does blame her taste in men for this. she definately wants the fairytale romance thing for herself and is determied to get up, brush herself off, and give her all to find the right person for her. she does a good job of putting on a brave face, and she's almost always wearing a smile. she enjoys fashion and shopping, and always tries to look good.

she enjoys quidditch and is quite competative, so joined the hufflepuff quidditch team the first chance that she got. she practiced endlessly before trials to make sure she shined, and she gained her place as a chaser, and it was well earned. she did infact, have a few detentions after the trials, because she'd put all her time into spending time with her friends, and practicing quidditch, instead of doing several pieces of homework that she had to do at the time. it was worth it though, and she still enjoys every single game. she hates losing and that helps her push herself in each game. beth is fiercely loyal to her friends and family and would never give up any of their secrets, no matter what the cost. she would give up everything so that the people she loved would be happy, and that's just how beth is.

detailed history

phoebe and andrew campbell met when they came to hogwarts. they were sorted in the same year but into different houses and for years walked past each other in the hallway, having little or no interaction. sometimes they were told to work together in class, but that was pretty much the extent of their interaction until they hit puberty. all of a sudden, andrew looked pretty cute and phoebe, well, you couldn't really get a look at her through the crowd of men who were fawning over her stunning good looks. out of all those boys, andrew was the only one who really caught phoebe's eye, but he tried to hang back and 'act cool', thinking that this was the better way to get her attention. phoebe thought this meant that he really wasn't that interested, so she tried dating one or two of her other admirers but nothing came of it. andrew was there all the way through her teen years as a shoulder to cry on, whilst his feelings for her developed more and more. eventually he had the guts to tell her that he loved her, they got together in the last few days of term at hogwarts, and left, carrying their relationship on over the summer. several years later, they were married and living together, when phoebe found out that she was pregnant for the first time. their first child was oliver, and not long after came beth, and third was evelyn.

in total, beth is one of three children who were all born in framlingham in suffolk. she has an older brother named oliver who is 17 and a younger sister named evelyn who is 15. out of all of them, she is closer to her brother, as he has a better sense of humour than evelyn. evie is a bit more dedicated to her studies than her siblings, and beth didn't really get that. her elder brother was sorted into gryffindor like her father, and when beth got her letter, she really didn't know where she'd end up. her father was a gryffindor and her mother was a ravenclaw, and beth couldn't see herself flying that flag. she got sorted somewhere completely different, and ended up in hufflepuff. admittedly, gryffindor was a better option, but if hufflepuff was where the hat wanted her, then that's where she would go. her younger sister was sorted a year later and joined the house of ravenclaw.

beth's first year was a bit unnerving. she supposed everyone felt the same, as it was of course a new place to live, and her parents weren't there to help her along. she was totally on her own, and at first it was kind of awesome and she felt very independant, but then she started to miss her parents. the feasts were great, but they just weren't the same as her mother's home cooking. she used to write home often, telling her parents of what she was learning, and asking her mother to send her some cookies or brownies, or some sort of sweet desert that she could enjoy and remember home whilst eating. not long after she started classes, she met a few friends, who helped her enjoy her time at hogwarts a lot more. she would sit out on the grass with them in the summer, and talk about their classes and boys under one of the trees by the lake. they made her feel much more at home, and from then on she came out of her shell to be the bubbly beth that we know today.

she started talking to more people and saying hi to everyone. some people didn't like it of course, but beth didn't mind. in her fourth year, she met her first ever boyfriend, though it only lasted two weeks, and the novelty of having a boyfriend wore off. she dated a few more times over the coming years, and eventually gave up her virginity to one of them, who didn't stick around much longer after that. this year she is even more determined to find someone who is good for her, someone who she can have that meaningful, fairytale romance with. whether she'll find it or not is another thing. boys may not stick around for her, but her friends had, and she was closer to them than ever. beth also did get into trouble once or twice for late homework, especially when she was coming close to quidditch trials, that was in her fourth year, she'd tried once in her third and had no luck, and went back for more the next year, having practiced pleanty more, and she made the hufflepuff team as a chaser. she was most proud of that acomplishment and wrote a whole letter home about every single move she made. her brother was proud too. so pretty much, her time in the castle so far has been spend having fun, and spending time with her friends. oh, and of course, learning.

Y O U R DARK S I D E

Phoebe hugged her coat tight around her. It was prefect patrol time, and she didn't like it. It was too cold, and her boots were sticking in the grass and she was silently hoping and praying that if they were already wrecked, magic would be able to somehow fix them. That was a perk of being a witch, if one of your favourite things broke, it was just a case of muttering a simple spell and voila! No one would ever be able to tell the difference. Yes, there were most definitely a lot of things to love about magic. Speaking of, Phoebe tapped the pocked that her wand was stored in to ensure that it was still there and secure, should she need it. It was pretty dark out, but the moon made the night-time bearable.

The grass beneath her feet crunched as she placed her foot down again. Following this, Phoebe couldn't help but sigh as she pulled her heel out of the mud. These were not the best shoes for patrol, but Phoebe had hoped to talk a teacher into taking her outside shift and letting her patrol somewhere inside, in the warm. That hadn't quite gone to plan as the corresponding teacher that was patrolling the entrance hall tonight, was one that didn't seem to like Phoebe very much, and to be honest, her grudge was getting old. Phoebe couldn't even remember what she'd done to piss this teacher off so much, but there had to be something. As she trudged across the grass, she urged her mind to remember, but it came up a blank. Phoebs heaved another sigh, and instead turned her brain to more interesting things, like boys, and how she could help out her friend, Cassie.

Oh yes, Phoebe and Cassie and their group had plans. Big plans. Phoebe and Cassie and their little group, were going to attempt to become animagus, and Phoebe simply couldn't wait to have that ability. It all started when those stupid boys figured out that James Potter and his little group, had the ability to turn into animagus. Since then, the boys became infatuated with the idea, and when the girls clocked on to what the guys were trying to do, well, what else could they do but try and race the boys to it. They had to prove that they were smarter, faster and better in general, and what better way to go about it? The thought delighted Phoebe and brought a smile to her pretty face.

Phoebe was distracted from her thoughts, however, when she noticed a cloud of smoke in the distance. She couldn't quite make out who it was, and she watched the mystery person for a moment in an attempt to discover who they were. The cloud of smoke was odd, though, as at first Phoebe assumed it was just breath, but the smoke was too dense and unless this person was breathing heavily, there was no way there'd be that much. Phoebe heaved another sigh at her failure to figure out who this person was, and instead she chose to investigate further. She took out her wand, just in case, and headed toward the shadowy figure. The person must have heard her coming, as Phoebe watched him turn, and then heard her name spoken. It only took a minute for Phoebe to pin the voice to a person. It was Esryn Zabini. But he was... smoking?

That was weird; she never knew that he indulged in such a bad habit. She walked closer toward him before pausing at an acceptable distance and providing one of her perfect smiles back at him. "Well if it isn't Esryn Zabini. Bad habit for a bad boy?" Phoebe teasingly asked. Who could deny that he was good looking? No one she knew, that was for sure. "Oh you know, I was totally just drawn to you. Well, that, and I'm on patrol. And you're out after curfew" She teased again, flashing him another smile.
